Erick Thohir Asks For Disputes Between SOEs To Be Completed In A Day

JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir asked for disputes between state-owned companies to be resolved within one day.

This was conveyed by Erick at the closing ceremony of the sports and art (Porseni) week in the state-owned company, BUMN Fest, at the Ministry of SOEs, Tuesday, August 1.

"Earlier I joked that something was interesting, he said earlier, 'Sir, this match is hot, the competition is persistent, but when there is a difference in problems being solved one day', it's amazing," said Erick.

"So if there is an issue between SOEs being resolved a day like a sports match, don't take years, because we are a big family and we have to be one solution and another," he continued.

Erick said, this step is also to build SOEs that do not close cooperation with various parties, including private parties.

"If we now encourage SOEs (not) to become ivory towers, we must be able to cooperate with the private sector, work together to encourage MSMEs to advance to class, but if fellow SOEs have problems, don't talk like that, it's complex," he explained.

For your information, the BUMN Fest event was attended by 3,209 participants and officials from 12 state-owned companies.

The number of athletes in all BUMN Fest 2023 sports consists of 420 football, 216 field tennis, 285 men's badminton, and 105 women's badminton.

Then, 170 people from Volley Putra, 51 people from Volley Putri, 270 people from Basketball Putra, 90 people from Women's Basketball, 160 Men's Table Tennis, 60 Women's Table Tennis, 100 people from Zumba, 171 ML E-sports, 104 PUBG E-sports, 72 people from Bakiak Traditional Sports, 72 people from Gobak Soodor Traditional Sports, with a total of 2,346 people.

Then the number of participants in all BUMN FEST 2023 art branches consisted of Band 189 people, Vocal Group 240 people, Responding to Pantun 75 people with a total of 504 people.
