JAKARTA The Sokoria Geothermal Power Plant officially conducts a Commercial Operation Date (COD) in unit II.

KTP PLTP Sokoria Doni Masditok said, with the receipt of an Operational LIKE Certificate (SLO) and the submission of a Commercial Operation Date (COD) application letter to PLN on July 28, 2023, Unit II of PLTP Sokoria has officially operated and supplied electricity to the Ende-Ropa network owned by PT PLN (Persero).
"After the success of COD Unit I with a capacity of 5MW in March 2022 and the addition of 3MW unit II capacity this time, PT SGI has a total installed capacity of 8 MW," Doni told the media quoted on Tuesday, August 1.
Doni said, COD Unit II is the result of good cooperation between PT SGI, Regional Government, EBTKE and PLN.
"We really enjoy strong and continuous support from the local government, PLN, the people of Ende Regency, during exploration and exploitation activities. We will continue to be committed to developing Sokoria's PLTP to achieve maximum capacity," continued DOny.
