JAKARTA - Bank Mandiri continues to be committed to strengthening its position as the bank with the largest wholesale market share in Indonesia. Bank Mandiri SVP Transaction Banking Wholesale Dini Isnarti stated that trade finance services have become a crucial component in domestic and global trade in facilitating transactions and providing financial solutions for importers and exporters. Along with that, Bank Mandiri recorded that the volume of export transactions grew 16.35% year on year (YoY) to Rp 617 trillion as of May 2023.

Meanwhile, the volume of imported transactions through Bank Mandiri rose 5.96 percent yoy to IDR 678 trillion in May 2023. Bank Mandiri's trading performance was able to grow higher when compared to national import exports, which contracted by -6.1 percent YoY and -3.8 percent YoY in the same period.

In addition, customers can also finance trading transactions online.

Not only that, Bank Mandiri's Cash Management transaction also experienced growth in the first five months of 2023. In terms of frequency, Bank Mandiri's Cash Management service increased 16.3% yoy to 425.17 million transactions as of May 2023.

Along with that, Cash Management volume increased 15% yoy from IDR 7,626.75 trillion. The transactions include the Kopra Cash Management, Kopra Cash Lite, Kopra Host to Host Payment, Kopra Smart Account, Mandiri Bill Collection, Mandiri e-Tax, and Mandiri Auto Debit services.

This is inseparable from the growth in the number of Cash Management customers which grew 48.11 percent yoy to 690,440 customers as of May 2023. The largest transactions were dominated by transactions through the Kopra Cash Management, with volume growth year to date (Ytd) reaching Rp6,357.07 trillion. This value accounts for 84 percent of the total cash management transactions," added Dini.
