Sido Muncul Raised Sales Of IDR 1.65 Trillion In Semester I 2023

JAKARTA - PT Industri Jamu dan Pharmacy Sido Muncul Tbk (SIDO) merupakan pertumbuhan penjualan naik 2,58 persen year on year (yoy) menjadi Rp1,65 triliun selama semester I 2023. Pada periode yang sama tahun 2022, angka penjualan tercatat senilai Rp1,61 triliun.

In SIDO's financial report quoted on Wednesday, July 26, it was stated that the total sales of the producer Tolak Angin during the first half of this year were still dominated by sales of herbal herbs and supplements which reached Rp1 trillion. Then followed by sales of food and beverages of Rp595.19 billion, and pharmaceuticals of Rp55.15 billion.

The increase in sales figures made the cost of goods sold also increased to Rp776.25 billion from the original Rp752.65 billion. This resulted in gross profit increasing 2.10 percent yoy to Rp877.54 billion.

On the other hand, SIDO managed to cut sales expenses by 1.16 percent to Rp197.86 billion at the end of June 2023. Likewise, general and administrative expenses fell by 10.51 percent, from Rp119.86 billion to Rp197.86 billion.

As a result, until the end of June 2023, SIDO's net profit had slightly increased to Rp448.10 billion. Previously, the profit for the period attributable to owners of SIDO's parent entity was recorded at Rp445.59 billion.

As of June 2023, SIDO had total assets of IDR 3.56 trillion or decreased from the position in December 2022 of IDR 4.08 trillion. In detail, the total liabilities were recorded at IDR 300.39 billion and the total equity was IDR 3.26 trillion.
