Pertamina: Realization Of One Price Fuel In Papua Needs Local Government Support

JAKARTA - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Maluku Papua stated that the realization of one price of fuel oil (BBM) on Cenderawasih Earth needs to be supported by the local Regional Government (Pemda) where by providing convenience in the process of establishment and operations.

Temporary Official (Pjs) Executive General Manager of Pertamina Region Papua Maluku Drestanto Nandiwardhana in Jayapura, Thursday, July 20, said that in 2023 Pertamina will get a target to build one-price fuel.

"We have received a target of presenting one price of fuel but do not yet know the exact amount, but Pertamina hopes that there will be local government support to realize it," he said, quoted by Antara.

According to Dressatto, although there has been one price of fuel, it is not sufficient for the needs of the community, especially in the three New Autonomy Regions (DOB), for that, his party hopes that there will be government support in presenting the one-price fuel.

"We continue to encourage all one-price fuel points in 2023 to operate," he said.

He explained that in realizing one price of fuel, collaboration is needed between both local, central, Hiswana Migas and Pertamina governments. That way one price of fuel can be present in the local area.

"In addition, in establishing the establishment of one price of fuel, it is necessary for prospective entrepreneurs who have sufficient capital and the requirements must have recommendations from the local regional head," he said again.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the Papua Regional National Oil and Gas Entrepreneurs Association (Hiswana Migas) Ledrik Lekenila said that in 2023 the Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency (BPH Migas) is targeting 53 points of one-price fuel distribution institutions throughout Papua.

"The 53 points are spread across 4 provinces in Papua, but the most are in the New Autonomy Region (DOB) so they need mutual support," he said.
