JAKARTA - The Indonesia Investment Authority (INA) is interested in annexing the Bogor-Ciawi-Sukabumi (Bocimi) toll road from PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk.
Previously, INA officially took over two sections of the Trans Sumatra Toll Road from Hutama Karya.
"Kaya Bocimi, INA is interested in entering because it's a good segment," said Deputy Minister of BUMN II Kartika Wirjoatmodjo to reporters, written Friday, July 14.
The Bocimi Toll Road will be the fifth toll road to be annexed by INA. So far, INA has annexed four toll roads, namely Medan-Binjai and Bakauheni-Terbanggi Besar, worth IDR 20.5 trillion from Hutama Karya, as well as the Kanci-Pejangan and Pemalang toll roads worth IDR 5.8 trillion from Waskita Karya.
The Bocimi Toll Road is one of the three Waskita Karya managed toll roads which is predicted to be removed or divested by the Ministry of SOEs.
The other two sections are Kayu Agung-Palembang Betung (Kapal Betung), and Bekasi-Cawang-Kampung Melayu (Becakayu).
Tiko, Kartika Wirjoatmodjo's nickname, said Waskita Karya is currently still in the process of financial restructuring.
However, at the same time Waskita also has the task of completing the construction of the Betung, Becakayu and Bocimi ships toll roads.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the Board of Directors of INA Ridha Wirakusumah admitted that he had plans to acquire the Trans Java toll road section.
"We are preparing several additional transactions that will also enter the toll road not only on the Sumatra Toll Road but also in Trans Java," said Ridha.
