United Tractors Has Issued Capital Expenditures Of Up To 325 Million US Dollars

JAKARTA - PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR) realized capital expenditure (capex) of 325 million US dollars (US) until the first semester of 2023.

"About 325 million US dollars spent capex. So, until the end of the year, everything will be spread," said UNTR Director Iwan Hadiantoro quoting Antara.

He revealed that the company allocated a capital expenditure of US$1.2 billion for 2023, which amounted to US$900 million to develop mining business lines, particularly for the purchase of new tools.

Then, amounting to 190 million US dollars to develop the gold mining business line under UNTR, namely Agincourt Resources.

"The target capex is 1.2 billion US dollars in 2023, a spend of 900 million US dollars in mining services for the purchase of new equipment, then, spending at the 190 million US dollars gold mine," said Iwan.

Selama tahun 2023, anak usaha PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) ini menargetkan penjualan sebanyak 100 unit Komatsu HB365-1 atau excavator hybrid, yang mana penjualan excavator hybrid Komatsu ini telah mencapai 69 unit sampai Juni 2023 ini.

In addition, on June 30, 2023, the company has signed a loan agreement to its subsidiary PT Acset Indonusa Tbk (ACST) amounting to IDR 325 billion.

The loan is given in the form of a revolving facility that will be used by ACST as a working capital, especially the implementation of new projects that will be carried out by ACST.

The interest applied in the loan is JIBOR + 1.5 percent per year, with a period of 36 months of availability of funds from the date of the agreement.

For information, PT United Tractors Tbk posted a net profit of IDR 5.32 trillion in the first quarter of 2023, or an increase of 23.20 percent year on year (yoy) compared to the same period in 2022 which amounted to IDR 4.32 trillion.

Along with that, the company's revenue also grew by 24.69 percent (yoy) to Rp34.88 trillion in the first quarter of 2023, from the previous Rp27.97 trillion in the same period in 2022.
