3 Kg Elpiji Price In East Java Melambung Tinggi, Pertamina Advises People To Buy At Official Bases

JAKARTA - The people of East Java have recently complained about the high price of 3 kilograms of LPG gas cylinders (Kg).

Responding to this, Pertamina Patra Niaga ensured that LPG's stock in the Pertamina distribution chain to the 3kg LPG Official Base was safe.

Area Manager Comm, Rel & CSR Sunday Rahedi explained that the high price of gas cylinders that the public has complained about is at the retail level or grocery store that is already outside Pertamina's authority to carry out supervision and control.

Sunday said that his party was worried that if the local government and elements in the regions did not move quickly, there were parties who deliberately made the situation in such a way as to get profit.

"People shouldn't need to worry, the easiest way is to buy at the nearest Pertamina Official Base or gas station in order to get stock that is always available at a price according to the Highest Retail Price (HET) of IDR 16,000, - which the Governor of East Java has set," said Sunday to the media, Wednesday, June 21.

Sunday added, currently all villages/kelurahan in East Java must have at least 1 (one) official LPji Pertamina base.

"Pertamina since 2017 has an LPG One Outlet (OVOO) program whose achievements have long reached 100 percent for East Java. So there is no more reason why it is difficult for people to find LPG, because in the village there must be a base," added Sunday.

Just so you know, currently the number of LPG bases 3kg Se-East Java has reached 39,931 bases. For LPG stocks in East Java, it is safe at 24,377 metric tons with daily consumption reaching 4,673 metric tons.

He regretted that there were still many residents who complained at the retail level and were reluctant to go to the base because they were far away even though in their village there were official Bases and stocks were always available at HET prices.

In addition to supervising retailers, the local government is also expected to intensively disseminate eligible and disproportionate LPG consumers according to the mandate in the Circular Letter of the Director General of Oil and Gas No. B2461/MG.05/DJM/2022.
