JAKARTA - Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) Syahrul Yasin Limpo (SYL) succeeded in convincing the ranks of South Korean (South Korean) officials to develop modern agriculture in Indonesia, in a high-level meeting of agriculture ministers at the G20 India.

According to the Minister of Agriculture, the meeting emphasized the importance of building agricultural power for the two countries, especially in increasing productivity through mechanization technology and opening internship opportunities for Indonesian millennial farmers.

South Korea is committed to helping the implementation of technology for Indonesian agriculture, even ready to receive internships for millennial Nusantara farmers with the maximum number.

"What is important is that both the Minister and Deputy Minister of Agriculture Korea agree to provide space for millennial farmers to internship as much as possible. And this is a part that we will sign minutes of the intense between Korea and Indonesia," he also said.

In addition, Indonesia also encourages South Korea to open up space for imports for domestic products. It is known, currently there are many Indonesian agricultural products entering Korea. Among them are plantation products, livestock and horticulture.
