Acer Indonesia Supports Increasing Future Digital Education Literacy Through Acer Edu Tech 2023

JAKARTA - Acer Indonesia today, Monday, May 15, held Acer Edu Tech 2023 as an effort to continue to contribute to advancing the world of education in the country.

Through an educational seminar entitled Implementation of Digital Literacy for Future Education, Acer presents educational practitioners, including Prof. Ir. Tian Belawati, Med., Ph.D President International Council for Open and Distance Education (ICDE) for the 2012-2015 Period and the Chancellor of the Open University for the 2009-2017 Period and Prof. Dr. Bedjo Sujanto, M.Pd Professor of Indonesia and Chancellor of the Jakarta State University for the 2004-2014 Period.

Education practitioners share their latest insights and experiences on the Challenges of Implementing Digital Literacy for Future Education, Utilization of Digital Technology for Advances in Education and Learning, and Modern and Visionary Education Ecosystems. Acer hopes that Acer Edu Tech 2023 can help provide up-to-date guidance for school managers, educational institutions or educational foundations and stakeholders in optimizing the application of digital literacy which has a positive impact on the world of education.

Herbal Ang, President Director of Acer Indonesia, said that Acer Indonesia continues to be committed to being a part of advancing the world of education in Indonesia. The implementation of Acer Edu Tech this time is a real effort, which is expected to help improve the quality of schools through the use of digital technology in the midst of globalization.

"Acer Indonesia believes that digital technology can open access to information in the midst of competition over the quality of human resources which is getting bigger as a first step in preparing future generations to face increasingly complex global challenges," said Herbal Ang.

Meanwhile, Acting Head of the DKI Jakarta Education Office, Syaefullah Hidayat., SST, MAP said, representing the world of education involved, his party gave the highest appreciation to Acer Indonesia for the implementation of Acer Edu Tech 2023.

"Not only support from the government, the real actions taken by a number of parties such as today's activities are the right steps and can provide great benefits for the use of technology in the field of education," said Syaefullah.

In addition to appreciating the implementation of Acer Edu Tech 2023. According to him, the issue of technology in the field of education today is very important.

"The application of digital literacy is becoming increasingly important in the midst of a wide flow of information. Through this agenda, we believe that there is a need for collaboration between technology and improving the quality of the education ecosystem so that the results of learning will be better and creating very quality students," added Syaefullah.

In organizing Acer Edu Tech 2023, Acer Indonesia collaborated with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Private University Deliberation Agency, which is also supported by the DKI Jakarta Education Office, the Pancasila Character Foundation, and the Counciltara Education and Culture Study Center, as well as a number of other educational institutions in Indonesia.
