Director General Of Oil And Gas Extends Time Limit For Income Of Participation Documents For Auctions For WK Akia, Beluga And Bengara

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) through the Directorate General of Oil and Gas has extended the access and entry time limit for the 2023 Phase I Oil and Gas Working Area Auction Participation Document for WK Akia, Beluga and Bengara I.

The access deadline for the Auction Document is extended until Monday, May 22, 2023, and the entry deadline for the Participation Document is until Tuesday, May 23, 2023.

The extension of the time limit for access and income of participation documents is listed in the Announcement of the Director General of Oil and Gas Tutuka Ariadji Number 1.PM/MG.04/DJM/2023 concerning Extension of the Time Limit for Income of Auction Participation Documents for Akia Working Areas, Beluga Working Area and Bengara I Working Area, which was signed on May 8, 2023.

"In connection with the previous announcement for the Akia Working Area auction, the Beluga Working Area and the Bengara I Working Area on April 10, 2023, we hereby convey that we have extended the entry deadline for the Participation Document for the auction of the three working areas so that the deadline for accessing the Auction Document is until Monday, May 22, 2023 and the deadline for importing the Auction Document is until Tuesday, May 23, 2023," said Director General of Oil and Gas Tutuka Ariadji in an announcement quoted Wednesday, May 10.

Initially, access to auction documents from April 10, 2023 to May 8, 2023, while the deadline for importing the Participation Document is until May 9, 2023.

As is known, on April 10, 2023, the Director General of Oil and Gas announced the 2023 Phase I WK Migas Auction consisting of the Akia Working Area, the Beluga Working Area and the Bengara I Working Area. The potential of each WK offered, in which all of them use a cost recovery sharing scheme:
