Take A Peek At BCA Dividend Distribution Worth IDR 25.3 Trillion, Here's The Schedule

JAKARTA - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) has decided to distribute cash dividends of IDR 25.3 trillion. The dividend distribution will be effective in April.

The decision to distribute BCA dividends has been agreed at the annual general meeting of shareholders (AGMS) which was held on Thursday, March 16. The dividend value reached 62.1 percent of the company's net profit for the 2022 financial year.

BCA itself recorded a profit of IDR 40.7 trillion throughout 2022, up 29.6 percent on an annual basis (year-on-year / yoy). The value and ratio of BCA dividends distributed to shareholders (dividend payout ratio / DPR) this year increased compared to last year.

In 2021, the dividend distributed is IDR 17.9 trillion or 56.9 percent of the total net profit for the financial year. BCA also announced the dividend value per share to be distributed to shareholders of IDR 205 per share.

The cash dividend per share rose 41.4 percent compared to the cash dividend distributed for the 2021 financial year. Meanwhile, the cash dividend includes cash interim dividends for the 2022 financial year of IDR 35 per share that has been paid by the company to its shareholders on December 20, 2022.

"So the remaining cash dividend per share for the 2022 financial year to be paid by the company is IDR 170 per share," explained BCA management.

Regarding the dividend distribution, BCA will effectively distribute dividends next month, April 14, 2023 to be exact. The following is the schedule for the distribution of BCA 2023 dividends:

- Cum dividend on regular market and negotiated market: 28 March 2023.- Ex dividend on regular market and negotiated market: 29 March 2023.- Cum dividend on cash market: 30 March 2023.- Ex dividend on cash market: 31 March 2023.- List of shareholders (DPS) entitled to cash dividend or recording date: 30 March 2023.- Dividend payment: 14 April 2023.
