SPT Reporters Up 15 Percent From Last Year, Capai 7.1 Million

Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani revealed that the number of SPT reporters until March 13, 2023, had reached 7.1 million SPTs, an increase of 15 percent from the same period last year (yoy).

"We continue to ask the public to submit the SPT and I convey that until March 13, 7.1 million SPTs have been reported," Sri Mulyani said in a press conference quoted on Wednesday, March 15.

He detailed that there were 6,930,112 private parties and an increase of 15,43 percent compared to last year's 6,008,646.

Meanwhile, the types of taxpayers in the form of a body amounted to 217,126 reporters, an increase of 17.95 percent from 184,081 reporters in 2022.

"So the total SPT submission on March 13, to this day is still 15.4 percent," he said.

Based on reporting media, taxpayers who have conducted e-filing are known to be 6,361,661 who are taxpayers of 10,503 and taxpayers (WP) of 6,351,158 individuals.

Meanwhile, there were 610,133 taxpayers who filled out the SPT through the e-form, with details of 174,609 and 435,524 corporate taxpayers being reported by individual taxpayers.

There are also taxpayers who have made manual reports or come directly to the Tax Service Office (KPP) as many as 175,319 whistleblowers, with details as many as 31,889 corporate taxpayers and 143,430 private taxpayers.

"There are still individuals as met by the president at the Surakarta KPP office. There are up to March 13, 175,319 private people who attend and come to the service office," continued Sri Mulyani.

Sri Mulyani also expressed her gratitude to all taxpayers who have made tax reports and promised to provide the best possible service.

"I am grateful to all the people who continue to maintain and improve compliance and we will help for the best possible service," concluded Sri Mulyani.
