JAKARTA – It is stated that the Task Force for Handling State Claims on the Bank Indonesia Liquidity Assistance Fund (BLBI Task Force) is said to have regained control of ex-BLBI assets owned by PT Intercon Enterprises worth IDR 1 trillion in Meruya, West Jakarta.
BLBI Task Force Chair Rionald Silaban said the control was carried out symbolically by placing a confiscation sign by the state.
"The BLBI Task Force has carried out a series of strategies, programs, and activities to return collection rights to the state by collecting obligors/debtors and handling property assets which are carried out in stages and measured," he said in an official statement on Thursday, 16 February.
Rionald explained, the assets confiscated from PT Intercon Enterprises came from the Collateral Goods Taken Over (BJDA) of ex-Bank Tamara and were calculated as a deduction from Bank Tamara's liabilities by IBRA.
Meanwhile, the assets in question are land with a total area of 241,170 square meters.
"The assets have been recorded as state-owned assets in the Central Government Financial Statements/Special Transaction Financial Reports, which are currently managed by the Ministry of Finance c.q. Directorate General of State Assets," he said.
Rionald emphasized that his party is working based on Presidential Decree Number 6 of 2021 in conjunction with Presidential Decree Number 16 of 2021.
