JAKARTA - The Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno said the spontaneous tourism trend or impulsive traveling could be one of the solutions for the revival of tourism in Indonesia after the COVID-19 pandemic.

"We believe that this spontaneous tourism trend can contribute more than 4 percent to tourism GDP. Spontaneous tourism, or what is known as instant tourism, is increasingly being triggered by the easing of PPKM rules. We want spontaneous tourism to be our momentum to make decisions, so that policies adjustable," he said.
