Achieve A Score Of 682.75, PLN Jakarta Capai Industry Leader

JAKARTA - The PLN Main Distribution Unit of Greater Jakarta reached Industry Leader with a score of 682.75 in a superior performance assessment based on the Business Excellence Framework (BEF) Malcolm Baldrige Criteria in 2022.

General Manager of PLN UID Jakarta Raya, Doddy B. Pangaribuan, said that the innovation summarized in the Jakarta Smart Electricity program was an important point in achieving superior performance and increasing the score until the industry leadership was achieved.

"Alhamdulillah, this year PLN UID Jakarta Raya can achieve Industry Leader, of course it cannot be separated from the transformation and innovation that we have carried out for better performance starting from planning, execution, to evaluation," said Doddy in an official statement, Monday, December 19.

In the Jakarta Smart Electricity, he continued, there are 5 main pillars, namely Smart Services, Smart Business, Smart Infrastructure, Smart Mobility, and Smart Living.

These pillars are the implementation of the corporate transformation program.

The flagship programs from the Jakarta Smart Electricity to improve services to customers include maintenance of unquenched distribution substations, SPKLU Mobile, and SPLU Pay per Charge.

The innovation carried out by PLN UID Jakarta Raya in various fields makes the process of achieving performance targets more effective and efficient.

BEF itself is a comprehensive performance method or measuring instrument with international standardization and with the concept of superior performance.

The implementation of the Baldrige framework will help in mapping the company's position, in this case PLN UID Jakarta Raya implements the company's transformation.

Doddy said the implementation of BEF was reflected in various company performances.

One of them is the cumulative sales performance of PLN UID Jakarta Raya electricity until November of 31.64 Terawatt hour (TWh) which has reached 104 percent above the November 2022 target. This sales performance also increased 6 percent compared to last year.

For the consistency of the application of standards in achieving performance, PLN UID Jakarta Raya won the National Standard Indonesia (SNI) Award in the 2022 Gold category.
