Grandson of PT INKA Exports Railway Components to Bangladesh

JAKARTA - PT INKA Multi Solusi Trading, the grandson of a state-owned rail industry company or PT INKA (Persero), exported 30 car sets of biological frames for passenger trains to Bangladesh.

President Director of PT INKA Multi Solusi Trading (IMST) Wai Wahdan in his statement in Madiun, Saturday, November 12, said the export release ceremony of 30 car sets of bogie frames for passenger trains to Bangka Agung, Bangladesh, was held on Friday, November 11 at the PT IMST warehouse.

"With the export of this cargo frame train, we can maintain Bangladesh as a traditional market", Wai Wahdan said, as quoted by Antara.

According to him, the export was successfully realized by PT IMST and cannot be separated from the support of INKA Group, including the parent company PT INKA (Persero).

He said that the export of the bogie frame to Bangladesh this time also involved vendors who formed synergies between SOEs and subsidiaries.

With exports to Bangladesh, he said, the opportunity for IMST exports has increased, not only to maintain the market in Bangladesh but also to other countries as targets for foreign markets.

According to the data, PT INKA (Persero) has several times received orders for the manufacture of trains for Bangladesh since 2016. These orders further strengthen the strategy of the state-owned train manufacturer to be able to enter the global market, especially in Asia.

"Hopefully in the future, INKA will not stop here but later there will be more exports of other products to the international arena", said Wai Wahdan.
