Improved To IDR 10,000 Per Liter, This Is The Economic Price Of Pertalite

JAKARTA - In early September, the Government decided to increase the price of Pertalite-type subsidized fuel oil (BBM) which was previously IDR 750 to IDR 10,000 per liter. Meanwhile, PT Pertamina stated that the current price was still below the Pertalite economy. Pertamina Sales Support Patra Zibali Hisbul said the price of Pertalite's economy could be seen at other competitive prices for types of fuel with the same type of RON, namely Rp. 14,000 per liter for BBM RON 90 and RON 89 sold at a price of Rp. 11,600. "The government has not planned to reduce the price of subsidized diesel fuel oil (BBM) to Rp. 14,000 per liter," he said in a webinar quoted on Saturday, October 15.

"The price of certain types of fuel (JBT) for diesel and type of special fuel for assignment (JBKP) is actually still below the economy, so there is no need to change it. What needs to be changed is the amount of subsidies," he said at the Energy Corner, Monday, October 10. "For that, continued Tutuka, the government will have difficulty if later it has to adjust fuel prices again. Putuka argues, world oil prices are very difficult to predict because they follow existing demand and supply. "The price of oil will be disrupted because there is geopolitical but will go down again and be stable again," added Tutuka.
