JAKARTA - The Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Agency of the Ministry of Trade (CoFTRA) released a list of 383 crypto assets that can be traded on the physical crypto asset market.

Of these, none of Anang Hermasyah's ASIX tokens were included in the list.

As is known, CoFTRA has released the latest regulations for trading the physical market for crypto assets, namely PerBA Number 11 of 2022 as a replacement for Regulation of BA Number 7 of 2020.

In this latest regulation, there are 383 cryptocurrencies registered and eligible for CoFTRA.

Acting Head of CoFTRA, Didid Noordiatmoko, said that Anang Hermasyah's ASIX crypto token had not been included in the list of 383 types of crypto assets because the ASIX token had not been included in the 229 asset types previously stipulated in PerBa Number 7 of 2020.

"ASIX tokens are in the new registrar at the 300th position that was recently proposed. Then an assessment is carried out, so that (that passes) meet the criteria in the crypto asset list and are not included in the ASIX token," he said at a press conference, Monday, August 15.

Didid said CoFTRA implements certain non-negotiable quality standards and is approved by exchangers.

According to him, the 383 total crypto assets that are included in PerBa Number 11 of 2022 will be evaluated periodically.

“We will expand the performance of these 383 crypto assets next year. We do not guarantee that these 383 crypto assets will continue to be maintained," he explained.

It is known, Deputy Minister of Trade (Wamendag) Jerry Sambuaga said in Perba No. 11 of 2022, crypto assets registered in the physical market of crypto assets became 383.

Previously, only 229 cryptocurrencies were contained in PerBa Number 7 of 2022.

However, Jerry continued, out of 229 evaluated, only 161 cryptocurrencies were eligible. Then, there are 222 new and eligible cryptocurrencies in addition. This brings the total to 383 crypto assets.

“This means that from 229 it does not automatically qualify again. But we did an evaluation, saw to make sure and it turned out that there were those who did not meet the requirements, so they fulfilled 161 out of 229. The new one means the addition is 222. So the total of those determined is 383, "he said.

Jerry emphasized that the PerBa Number 11 of 2022 also regulates the procedures for adding and subtracting the types of cryptos traded.

That way, said Jerry, this is proof that the Ministry of Trade through CoFTRA wants to provide protection to consumers as well as business actors.

Approval or assessment also involves crypto business associations.

"We are very selective, we also follow the process very carefully to ensure that all types of cryptocurrencies that are traded follow the applicable regulations with a very strict selection," he explained.

Of the 383 registered in the Crypto Asset Physical Data, there are 10 tokens that belong to domestic business actors, the following is the list:

1. Ana Coin

2. Cindrum

3. Degree crypto token

4. RupiahToken

5. KunciKoin

6. Livepeer

7. Shill Token
