After Getting Permission To Become An MPM QRIS Operator, MNC Bank Owned By Conglomerate Hary Tanoe Prepares Virtual Credit Cards To Withdraw And Deposit At Minimarkets

JAKARTA - PT Bank MNC Internasional Tbk (BABP) or MNC Bank, has just received permission from Bank Indonesia (BI) as the organizer of payment transaction processing activities through the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard – Merchant Presented Mode (QRIS MPM). This service will be one of the features of MotionBanking, using a savings account as a source of funds.

Quoting the company's statement, with payment services using QRIS in MotionBanking, users can enjoy the convenience of transacting at QRIS merchants throughout Indonesia, directly from the application.

"The integration of QRIS came at a time of digitalization. Countries around the world have pushed forward with the adoption of digital payment infrastructure such as the universal QR payment method and Indonesia is doing the same," wrote MNC Bank quoted on Tuesday, July 5.

The bank belonging to the conglomerate Hary Tanoesoedibjo is also developing a virtual credit card feature that can be accessed from MotionBanking. This feature allows customers to access credit card details and make online payments, without the need for a physical card, simply by logging in to the MotionBanking application.

In addition, MNC Bank is testing cash withdrawal and deposit features at minimarkets to be added to the application.

MotionBanking, through a friendly user interface design, trains users to be more digitally proficient when serving their banking needs and reduces the risk of using cash.

With this integration, the QRIS transaction volume on the MotionBanking application will certainly have a positive impact on the Company's business growth in addition to supporting the cashless society program promoted by the Government. MotionBanking has taken various financial digitalization adaptations to increase its competitiveness and win the market.
