Ensuring Fuel Needs In Sumbagut Are Fulfilled, Pertamina Prepares 24-Hour Task Force

JAKARTA - Pertamina's Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr task force (Satgas Rafi) is ready to secure the supply of fuel oil (BBM) during the Lebaran homecoming in North Sumatra (Sumbagut). This task force is effective from April 11 to May 10, 2022.

"From April 11 to D+7 Eid 2022, the Rafi Pertamina Task Force will work 24 hours to monitor the supply and distribution of fuel during the Lebaran homecoming period," said Acting Manager of Communication Relations & CSR of Sumbagut PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, Agustiawan in his statement, quoted by Antara, Sunday, April 17.

During the 2022 Eid homecoming, Pertamina predicts that fuel consumption in Indonesia, without exception in Sumbagut, will increase as homecoming is allowed.

Pertamina, said Agus, stated that the fuel stock in Sumbagut was still in a safe and sufficient condition. Pertalite can meet the needs for up to five days. Pertamax is enough for 41 days, Pertamax Turbo is enough for 56 days, Biosolar is 12 days, and Dexlite is enough for the next 11 days.

"Therefore, the public is advised not to worry if there is a surge in travelers. This is Pertamina's effort to ensure the availability and supply of fuel to keep it running smoothly. So, people don't need to panic," he explained.

He added that the increase in fuel consumption during Lebaran homecoming in the Sumbagut area, for Pertalite is estimated to increase by 8-9 percent, Pertamax up 5-6 percent, Pertamax Turbo up 8 percent, Biosolar up 5-6 percent, and Dexlite up 3 percent.

"Pertamina's Rafi Task Force has added a fleet of assistance to distribute fuel to gas stations," he said.
