PP Presisi Quickly Handles Work Accidents In The Cinere - Jagorawi Toll Road Project Section 3

JAKARTA - KSO LMA - PT PP Presisi Tbk (PPRE) and PO Cahaya Trans Wisata employees swiftly deal with work accidents on the Cinere - Jagorawi Toll Road Project Section 3, to be precise at the location of Abutment 2 Overpass of the Limo Raya Bridge on Monday, 22 March 2022 at 15:37 western Indonesia time.

This incident occurred at the Pilecap excavation work with rescue efforts by the field team assisted by employees of PO Cahaya Trans Wisata swiftly digging the soil manual that hit the workers because if it was excavated with heavy equipment it would pose a risk of increasing excavation debris. The K3 team and the Medical team quickly rescued the victim to be immediately taken to the nearest Hospital and Clinic, and protected the scene using the Police Line and Safety Net.

Section 3 Cinere - Jagorawi Toll Road Project Manager, Hamzah Gunawijaya conveyed a brief chronology of the accident. The accident occurred at the project site being worked on by KSO LMA-PPRE, where it started from the process of installing the excavation elevation limit in accordance with the KSO LMA-PPRE Quality & Safety procedure.

"When the excavation work has reached a depth of approximately 3.5 m, the 1st victim, the Assistant Surveyor, came down to the excavation site to install the excavation elevation limit, but a landslide occurred in the excavation to be checked and the victim was hit by an avalanche. Flagman and the Assistant Surveyor helped the 1st victim dig up the landslide, but the 2nd avalanche hit Flagman and the Assistant Surveyor behind him (the 2nd and 3rd victims)," Hamzah said in his written statement, quoted on Wednesday. March 23.

Hamzah explained that first aid was carried out directly by the PPRE field team and employees of PO Cahaya Trans Wisata who happened to be near the location. The condition of the 2nd victim (Flagman) after being rescued is in good health and can return to his activities.

"Meanwhile, the 1st and 3rd victims (Assistant Surveyors) were rescued using a citizen's car and an ambulance belonging to the LMA-PPRE KSO Project to Puri Cinere Hospital and Kita Krukut Clinic. The doctor's diagnosis results stated that the two victims were in good health and were allowed to go home. "The accident occurred due to natural factors where the ground is unstable. Currently, the two victims are resting in the project mess, while the 2nd victim (Flagman) is able to return to his activities at the project," he explained.

PT PP Presisi Tbk as the contractor implementing this toll road construction has reported the incident to the authorities and together have carried out further investigations.
