The Governor Of East Kalimantan Is Committed To Manage Regional Finances More Transparently

SAMARINDA - The Governor of East Kalimantan (Kaltim), Isran Noor, emphasized his commitment to bringing the Provincial Government (Pemprov) he leads to be able to implement regional financial management in a more transparent and accountable manner.

"For this reason, I hope that all levels of the East Kalimantan Provincial Government and district/city governments are ready to be open and coordinate well with the auditors," said Isran, in Samarinda, as reported by Antara, Saturday, March 19.

This was conveyed by Isran Noor at the Submission of the Regional Government Financial Reports of the East Kalimantan Provincial Government for Fiscal Year 2021 to the East Kalimantan Provincial BPK Representative, at the East Kalimantan Provincial BPK, Jalan M Yamin Samarinda, Saturday, March 19.

Isran hopes that the results of the examination of the report will be able to provide benefits to the community that what the East Kalimantan Provincial Government has carried out is in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations. "Hopefully the results will be better. Is there anything better than the WTP," said Isran.

The former regent of East Kutai requested that all levels of the East Kalimantan Provincial Government intensively coordinate with the BPK auditors. "We have submitted the financial report, hopefully it can be examined soon," said Isran.

Isran also expressed his gratitude to the Head of the East Kalimantan Provincial BPK Representative Dadek Nandemar who was willing to accept the 2021 East Kalimantan Provincial Government Financial Report in order to carry out the mandate of Law Number 23 of 2014 concerning Regional Government and Government Regulation Number 12 of 2019 concerning Regional Financial Management.

On the same occasion, the Head of the East Kalimantan BPK Representative, Dadek Nandemar, appreciated the East Kalimantan Provincial Government for submitting the 2021 Financial Management Report.

"In accordance with the provisions, two months after submission, we must report the results of the examination of this report. Of course we really appreciate the East Kalimantan Provincial Government for submitting the report and including it quickly," said Dadek.

For information, currently only four local governments have submitted financial reports, namely the Kutai Kartanegara Regency Government, Bontang City Government, West Kutai Regency Government, and East Kalimantan Provincial Government.
