Former Director Of BRI And BTN Becomes President Commissioner Of Bank Jatim

SURABAYA - PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (Bank Jatim) has just concluded the General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS), in Surabaya, on Thursday, March 17.

The meeting resulted in several decisions, including the appointment of Suprajarto as President Commissioner (Komut) of the new company.

Previously, Suprajarto was known to be the former President Director (Director) of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BRI) in the period 2017 to 2019.

In addition, Suprajarto also served as Deputy President Director of PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (BNI) and was appointed as President Director of PT Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk (BTN) but refused and then resigned.

"Welcome, Mr. Suprajarto, the new Komut of Bank Jatim. I think his network and experience will be able to strengthen and develop Bank Jatim in the future," said the Governor of East Java, Khofifah Indar Parawansa, after the AGM.

Not only appointing Suprajarto, but the GMS of Bank Jatim this time also agreed to dismiss members of the board of directors whose term of office ended, namely the Director of Business Risk, Rizyana Mirda, and the Director of Finance, Ferdian Timur Satyagraha.

As a replacement for the two officials, according to Khofifah, the company will immediately conduct open bidding.

Thus, the following is the composition of the Board of Commissioners and Board of Directors of Bank Jatim, in accordance with the decision of the GMS
