JAKARTA - A fight and a hot situation occurred between Fernando Alonso and Esteban Ocon at the 2023 Brazilian F1 sprintout session which took place on Sunday, November 5. The incident began when a collision occurred in the SQ1 session when Fernando Alonso and Esteban Ocon drove to bend 3 of the Interlagos Circuit.

At that time Alonso who was at the front, drove slowly outside the racing line because it was almost certain to secure his position to enter SQ2. "Idiot, Fernando!" said Ocon via radio team, right after the collision occurred as quoted from the video circulating.

Because of this incident, Ocon was forced to leave the sprint shootout session early and failed to get on to SQ2. Meanwhile, Alonso, who had already passed to SQ2, could not even continue because his car was damaged.

The damage that occurred in Alonso's car has actually been trying to be repaired by Aston Martin's team. However, there is not enough time to make Alonso's AMR23 recover to its maximum use.

The situation heated after the race ended because the two racers competed in a statement in front of the media covering.
