National Team Schedules One Trial Before Combating In The U-17 FIFA World Cup

JAKARTA - The U-17 Indonesian national team coach, Bima Sakti, scheduled one more trial before appearing at the FIFA U-17 World Cup. Most recently, Garuda Nusantara won 4-0 against the Russian team, the Moscow Torpedo.

One last test match of the U-17 national team will be held at the Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium, Surabaya. The last trial agenda will be held after the team departs for the City of Heroes on November 3.

"Our plan is that there will be one more trial in Surabaya. Yes, we will try the field at Bung Tomo (the main team of the U-17 national team in the group stage, Group A)," said Bima Sakti after leading the training at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, Jakarta on Monday, October 30 morning.

Bima Sakti leaked that the opponent who will be faced in the last trial is one of the local teams. They will try to field all the players.

"We want to try all the players. In good condition, they felt different last night (against the Moscow Torpedo), a little hot because we only arrived in Indonesia for a few days. Hopefully, it can be even better later. The plan is against the local team," said the 46-year-old coach. explained.

Regarding the target at the U-17 World Cup, Bima Sakti hopes that at least his team can qualify for the round of 16. However, he did not want his team to be burdened and be able to play loose.

"They are all, I told them to focus on every game. Don't think it's a burden, it's a World Cup game. Don't let it become a burden for them," said Bima.

"Indeed, this is a rare opportunity for them and they are aware of that. In fact, this may even be a chance for a lifetime for them because after this they will play in U-18 and U-19. So, they realize that their responsibility is big," he continued.
