JAKARTA - Anthony Joshua's wish to have a dream match against Deontay Wilder was hit hard. Joshua and Wilder had talks to fight, but negotiations ultimately failed.

The chances of both parties sitting around the table again are now less likely. The reason is, Andy Ruiz Jr appears to challenge Bronze Bomber.

Ruiz demanded negotiations between him and Wilder for the heavyweight fight to reopen.

This Mexican-American man looks eager to box Wilder. He even hinted that he was willing to lose a lot of money in order to be in the same ring as the 37-year-old boxer.

"Me and him (Wilder) need to negotiate. We need to talk one by one, let's fight," Ruiz told Fight Hub TV.

"If notani, let's negotiate anything. Let's make it happen. I will beat you," he continued.

Wilder's coach, Malik Scott, dealt another blow to Joshua's hopes of fighting against his fighter. Scott recognizes America's next most likely opponent right now is Ruiz.

"Andy Ruiz, maybe at this point. When you are the loudest beater in the history of this sport, it is very difficult for men to want to fight you," Scott said.

"I will mention the numbers. The fighters prefer to remain poor rather than produce four million. That's a tragedy. They prefer to ask 15 to 20 million because they know it's not in the plan."

"They know this money is not available to them, but they prefer to ask for it. That's crazy."

Scott also opened up about the reason the conversation between Wilder and Joshua failed. He advised AJ not to expect to fight with his students too much.

"Deontay is one of the fighters who can actually turn off your switch completely with one hit," he said.
