Bagnaia Ready To Join Martin In The 2023 Mandalika MotoGP

JAKARTA World Champion Francesco Bagnaia admits that he can't wait to compete in the 2023 Mandalika MotoGP. The Ducati Lenovo team racer is ready to fight and strive with Jorge Martin to secure a position at the top of the MotoGP standings.

In fact, Pecco was comfortable at the top of the standings with an advantage of up to 66 points. Unfortunately, the accident at the Catalunya MotoGP made him lose momentum. Jorge Martin who defended the Pramac Ducati team was able to catch up after winning the sprint race and the main MotoGP races for San Marino and Japan 2023.

Now, the two riders are only three points adrift in the standings, or the smallest distance after holding 14 MotoGP series since 1993. However, Bagnaia insists that he is ready to fight with Martin, and believes the remaining six series will make the 2023 MotoGP event even more interesting.

"I think this will be exciting and exciting. There are still six races left. This could be a great fight," Bagnaia was quoted as saying by Speedweek.

The 26-year-old admitted that the results achieved made Jorge Martin have high confidence. However, this will not make him shrink and will be ready to give the best resistance in the 2023 Mandalika MotoGP.

"Of course it's more intense and difficult now. Jorge has the momentum, but we worked hard and found something in Japan that helped me. In the next race at Mandalika we will definitely fight Jorge, but also fight all the other riders. It's important to be back at the top," said Bagnaia about the 2023 Mandalika MotoGP.
