Marquez Talks About Martin And Bagnaia's Fight In MotoGP Japan: Difficult To Get Rid Of The Pressure Of The Champion Competition

JAKARTA - Repsol Honda racer, Marc Marquez, commented on the fight between Francesco Bagnaia and Jorge Martin in Japan's MotoGP. According to him, the two riders performed great at the Motegi Circuit, Sunday, October 1 at noon WIB.

Martin and Bagnaia did race extraordinaryly. Moreover, both of them can control the situation even though the track is wet due to heavy rains.

"Pecco ( Bagnaia's nickname) and (Jorge) Martin shot up tremendously. It's difficult for them to do, especially under the pressure of world champion competition this season," Marquez said as quoted by Speedweek, Monday, October 2.

"It is very difficult to master the race under extreme conditions. However, both of them are able to speed up quickly both when the track is dry or wet."

"They show high-class performance, drive perfectly, and carry momentum from other series," he added.

Currently Pecco and Martin are competing in the MotoGP standings. Pecco is still leading at the top with 319 points, while Martin is stuck with only three points.

With very tight competition Marquez admits he can't wait to see the final results of MotoGP this season. Especially with the tight competition at the top of the standings until the 14th series.

Meanwhile, Marquez began to show positive performance. In MotoGP Japan, the Repsol Honda racer managed to rank third.

This achievement ended fasting on the podium after a long time. After slowly returning to the positive track, Marquez still has to continue to improve his performance because the competition is still long.

After the Japanese MotoGP, MotoGP riders will visit Indonesia to play the 15th series which will be held at the Mandalika International Circuit, on October 13-15, 2023.
