JAKARTA - Aston Villa won an impressive 6-1 victory against Brighton in a Premier League match on Saturday 30 September at Villa Park's stadium, Birmingham. This victory put Villa in third place in the standings, matching the number of points with Brighton, who is now in third place.

Aston Villa took the lead with a hat-trick totaling Watkins (25, 45+2, 65), who made an impressive appearance in this match. Brighton tried to bounce back after Ansu Fati scored his first goal for the team (50), but the goal was checked with VAR because of the controversial offside potential.

However, when Brighton started building momentum, Villa managed to score again through Watkins' shot which hit the opposing player (65), so he won a hat-trick in this match. Villa completed their win with additional goals from Jacob Ramsey (85) and Douglas Luiz (90+7).

This victory brought Aston Villa to third place in the standings, with the same points as Brighton who suffered their second defeat this season.
