Quarterfinals Of Indonesia Masters 2023: Host Places 10 Representatives

JAKARTA Indonesia Masters 2023 has entered the quarter-finals, Friday, September 8. The following is the complete schedule for the match of 10 Indonesian representatives in that round.

The series of last eight matches began at 13.30 WIB at the PBSI Pancing Sports Center, Deli Serdang, Medan. Indonesian representatives are still scattered in five sectors.

Women's doubles is the sector with the most representatives in the last eight of this Super 100 BWF level event, with three representatives.

They are the couple Jesita Putri Miantoro/Febi Setianingrum, Meilysa Trias Puspitasari/Rachel Alllessya Rose, and Lanny Tria Mayasari/Ribka Sugiarto.

Jesita/Febi will fight Chang Ching Hui/Yang Ching Tun (Taiwan), Meilysa/Rachel meet India's tough opponent Tanisha Crasto/Ashwini Ponnappa and Lanny/Ribka clash with the Thai pair Lakska Kanlaha/Phataimas Muenwong.

Meanwhile, the women's singles, mixed doubles, and men's doubles each sent two representatives. The hope for the men's singles is only on Tommy Sugiarto's shoulder.

Of the women's singles who survived were Komang Ayu Cahya Dewi and Ester Nurumi Tri Wardoyo. Komang will duel with Huang Yu-Hsun from Taiwan, while Ester, who won the Indonesia International Challenge last week, will face Japan's representative, Riko Gunji.

Then in the men's doubles number Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Moh Reza Pahlevi Isfahani were challenged by representatives of Malaysia Low Hang Yee/Ng Eng Cheong and Muhammad Al Farizi/Nikolaus Joaquin met the Chinese Taipei pair, Chen Zhi Ray/Lu Chen.

Furthermore, the remaining mixed doubles are Marwan Faza/Jessica Maya Rismawardani and Zaidan Arrafi Nabawi/Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu

Marwan/Jessica will be tested by Phatharathorn Nipornram/Nattamon Laisuan from Thailand, while Zaidan/Felisha fight Malaysia's representative, Choong Hon Jian/Go Pei Kee.

The last remaining men's singles was Tommy Sugiarto. The 35-year-old badminton player will be fought by Taiwan's singles, Su Li Yang.
