After Dean Henderson's Release To Crystal Palace, Manchester United's Balance Could Increase By IDR 288 Billion

JAKARTA - Manchester United (MU) has reportedly reached an agreement with Crystal Palace regarding Dean Henderson's transfer. The move from the English goalkeeper could increase MU's balance by 15 million pounds, or around Rp. 288 billion.

However, this amount does not include additional bonuses if Henderson's appearance is satisfactory. The total is reported to have reached 20 million.

"Henderson immediately carried out a medical test to complete the move to Crystal Palace. The move involved a transfer fund of up to 20 million," the 90Min report said Monday, August 28.

Reportedly, the player will undergo a medical test with the Eagles. If he passes, Henderson just has to sign a contract.

Throughout last season Henderson underwent a loan spell at Nottingham Forest. The MU junior team dropout recorded 20 matches with his loan club.

After the loan period in Nottingham, there was a breath of fresh air for Henderson because Manchester United management did not renew David de Gea's contract.

Unfortunately, Henderson's chances of becoming the main figure under the Red Devils' crossbar actually narrowed. Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag chose to bring in Andre Onana as the new goalkeeper.

Seeing the fainter opportunity, Henderson inevitably had to find another port in order to appear regularly. Finally he agreed with Crystal Palace's offer and ended his collaboration with MU even though in his second contract he still had an agreement until 2025.

Since being promoted to United's first team, Henderson has indeed been loaned more at other clubs. Apart from Stockport County, Grimsby Town, and Shrewsbury Town, Henderson has also been loaned to Sheffield United.
