Indonesian men's volleyball national team athlete Fahri Septian Putranama became the best player (MVP) for the first round of the 2023 SEA V League which took place at GOR Candradimuka Padepokan Volleyball Police General Kunarto, Sentul, Bogor.

The Proliga 2023 best player was impressive during the two matches which took place from July 22 to 23, bringing Indonesia to the top of the 2023 SEA V League standings.

When facing Thailand, Sunday, Fahri appeared to dominate the match by recording 23 points from 20 spikes, two blocks and one serve.

Then in the previous match, Fahri, who had just recovered from a muscle injury that ruled him out of AVC Challenge Cup 2023, took to the field against the Philippines and recorded a total of 13 points from 12 spikes and 1 block.

While in the opening match against the Philippines, Fahri Septian still has not been played by the Indonesian national team coach Jiang Jie.

Apart from Fahri, Indonesian players such as Hendra Kurniawan and Farhan Halim received the best award in their respective positions. Hendra Kurniawan was chosen as the best middle blocker in the first round while Farhan Halim was chosen as the best spiker.
