JAKARTA - Brahim Diaz finally returned to Real Madrid after his loan period at AC Milan ended. This is the second chance for the player to prove himself.

Brahim Diaz admits that returning to Real Madrid was the happiest day of his life.

"Being here is every child's dream and making it happen for the second time or even more than just a dream," Diaz said.

Diaz was brought in by Madrid in January 2019 from Manchester City with a dowry of 17 million euros, as reported by Transfermarkt via Antara.

Together with El Real, the Spaniard appeared 21 times in all competitions with two goals and three assists and won the 2019/2020 La Liga trophy and the 2020 Spanish Super Cup.

"Competition does exist, but that's a good thing. I'm in the best team in the world, with the best players, and that's good for coach and Real Madrid," Diaz said of the starter's competition map in Madrid.

"I'm obviously back for success, but it's always going through hard work, humility and a constant desire to learn from the fantastic dressing room here, which continues to win a lot," he added.

Diaz's career then continued when AC Milan borrowed in September 2020 and spent three seasons with the club nicknamed the Rossoneri.

Together with the club that is currently in the San Siro, Diaz made 124 appearances in all competitions with 18 goals and 15 assists.
