FP1 Formula E Results, Gunther Becomes The Fastest To Unggul Edoardo Mortara

JAKARTA - Maserati team racer Maximilian Gunther became the fastest during the 2023 Formula E Jakarta free practice (FP1) session. Taking place at the Jakarta International E-Prix Circuit, Friday, June 2, Gunther managed to outperform Edoardo Mortara.

At the beginning of the FP1 session, Porsche racer Pascal Wehrlein started his business at the forefront. The second starting position was then occupied by Jean Eric Vergne from the DS Penske team.

It didn't take long, the intense competition in the three fastest places changed with the presence of the rider from Avalanche Andretti, Jake Dennis who overtook Vergne. He was then followed by Sacha Fenestraz who was stuck in third place.

Entering the final 15 minutes of the FP1, Vergne, Gunther, and Vandoorne sessions, they are racers who control the top three positions. Gunther took advantage of the momentum of the last round to accelerate to occupy the leading position.

The second position is Stoffel Vandoorne and Edoardo Mortara in third position who continue to survive until the finish line and the FP1 session is over.

Maximilian Gunther became the fastest in FP1, followed by Edoardo Mortara and Stoffel Vandoorne. Gunther became the best after recording the fastest time of 1 minute 8,946 seconds.
