JAKARTA - Good news for clubs who want the services of Declan Rice. West Ham United are already willing to let the England international player go.

However, the English Premier League club will not release its star player at a low price. West Ham is reportedly ready to release with a tag of 120 million pounds or approximately IDR 2.2 trillion.

In addition, Rice will only be sold to clubs appearing in the Champions League.

Quoted from Sky Sports, Tuesday, West Ham is also believed to be ready to accept other options in the form of fresh funds of 100 million pounds (approximately IDR 1.8 trillion) plus players who are midfielders from clubs interested in attracting Rice.

The high price set by West Ham cannot be separated from the Hammers' view that Rice is one of the best midfielders in the world and is still young, to be precise 24 years.

West Ham has reportedly promised not to hinder Rice's dream of playing in the highest caste competition between European clubs in the Champions League.

Even so, West Ham will only sell Rice if the proceeds submitted are in accordance with their wishes and Rice's proceeds will be used to strengthen the team.

Reportedly Arsenal will be Rice's next port, while other Premier League clubs namely Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool also show interest in the player from England.

The Irish player still has two years of contract with West Ham and has the option to extend it with a duration of one season.

Rice has rejected the contract extension that West Ham offered, 18 months ago, with a salary value of 200 thousand pounds (approximately IDR 3.7 billion) per week.

It is believed Rice is now receiving a salary of 70 thousand per week and he will be willing to move this summer if he gets a three-fold offer than he now receives.

This season Declan Rice is listed as an important pillar of West Ham and recorded 44 appearances in various competitions and contributed four goals each out of a total of 3,666 minutes of play.

West Ham is currently trying to avoid the relegation zone and is struggling to reach the Conference League final against AZ Alkmaar in the semifinals.
