Head of the National Police's Security Maintenance Agency Ensures Preparation of the Lake Toba F1 Powerboat Running Smoothly

MEDAN - Head of the National Police's Security Maintenance Agency, Commissioner Arief Sulistyanto, ensured that preparations for the international Lake Toba Powerboat F1 event in Balige District, Toba Regency, North Sumatra, went smoothly.

"I have come to Balige three times to review or check the preparations for the F1 Powerboat", said Arief as quoted from Antara on Sunday, February 12.

Arief acknowledged that the entire series of preparations for the implementation of the F1 Powerboat in Balige City was according to a predetermined target time.

According to him, the F1 Powerboat international event, which is being held for the first time, is an important momentum for Indonesia, because it is certain that many people as well as foreign and local tourists will visit Lake Toba.

"So the hope is that during this activity the economic sector of the community in Toba Regency, North Sumatra, will increase", he said.

On that occasion, Commissioner Arief asked the Regent of Toba to continue conveying socialization to the community so that they would also support and make the Lake Toba F1 Powerboat activity a success so that it runs conducive.

"Of course, the National Police will help provide security during the F1 Powerboat event on February 24-26", he said.
