Praise Casemiro With The Title Of Manchester United's Save Goal Against Chelsea, Eriksen: Very Strong Neck!

JAKARTA - Midfielder Christian Eriksen praised a goal scored by his partner in Casemiro's midfield when Manchester United offset Chelsea 1-1 in Week 13 of the Premier League at Stamford Bridge Stadium, London, Saturday.

Quoted from the club's official website on Sunday, Casemiro saved Manchester United from defeat against Chelsea thanks to a header that the Brazilian scored in the 90+4 minute.

According to Eriksen, in this match Manchester United was able to present a character and was a good header from Casemiro after receiving Luke Shaw's pass.

"It feels very relief compared to the previous six minutes with an opponent's penalty, it was a big blow. But, obviously, it showed a good character and header," said Eriksen.

"It was a (lethal header), a very strong neck! A very strong neck to get the ball there, a very good goal," he added.

Regarding this match, Eriksen assessed that Manchester United actually deserved three points, but they failed to maximize the opportunities they got, especially in the first half.

"Most of the time in the first half, I think we played very well. We created chances and were really dominant over them. So yes, I think we have to make it easier for us to hit with one or two goals," Eriksen explained.

In this match, Manchester United fell behind because of Jorginho's penalty, but the Red Devils continued to try to equalize when Casemiro scored in extra time for the second half.

Because of this one point score, Manchester United are still in fifth place in the standings with 20 points from 11 matches, one point away from Chelsea in 4th position.
