JAKARTA - The Indonesian national team managed to record a narrow 2-1 victory over Curacao in the second match of FIFA Matchday at Pakansari Stadium, Cibinong, Tuesday, September 27 evening WIB.

Indonesia immediately scored a quick goal when the game had only been running for three minutes. Dimas Prajad gave Shin Tae Yong's squad the lead after taking advantage of the ball throwing up in the opponent's penalty box.

The vomit ball started with Witan Sulaeman's kick from outside the penalty box which Curacao goalkeeper Tyrick Bodak did not anticipate properly. Dimas, who stood without a guard, was free to put the ball into the net.

Indonesia tried to increase the advantage after that. However, the scoreboard did not change again until the long whistle from the referee marked the first half.

Just one minute after the break, Curacao scored the equaliser. Jeremy Cornelis broke into Syahrul Trisna's goal after maximizing Juninho Bacuna's through ball.

In the 57th minute, Indonesia again gave a threat to the opponent's goal through Saddil Ramdani's powerful shot. Luckily for Curacao the effort could still be parried by their goalkeepers.

Shin Tae Yong then decided to withdraw Egy Maulana and Dimas Prajad in the 65th minute and included Dendy Sulistyawan and Muhammad Rafli. However, additional goals were not created.

The Korean coach continued the substitution in the 72nd minute by pulling Saddil Ramdani and Arhan Pratama out and adding Ramadhan Sanata and Muhammad Ferarri.

Additional new ammunition also succeeded in helping Indonesia score the second goal three minutes before normal time was over. This time it was Dendy's turn to register his name on the scoreboard after using Witan's pass.

The 2-1 position for Indonesia also lasted until the long whistle which dispersed the match. This is the second success of the Garuda squad in a row over the same team.

Previously, Indonesia and Curacao met in the first match of the international break on September 24 at the Bandung Stadium, Sea of Fire (GBLA). Red and White narrowly won 3-2 at that time.

Three goals for Indonesia were scored by Marc Klok, Fachrudin Aryanto, and Dimas Drajat, respectively. Meanwhile, two goals from the opposing team were netted by Rangelo Janga and Juninho Bacuna.
