JAKARTA - You could be forgiven for assuming that Shakira's music might be taboo, if not banned, in Barcelona's dressing room at the moment. However, before the Catalans clash with Real Madrid in Las Vegas a few days ago, the new song from the diva sounded very loud.

The fact that it's Shakira's new single makes the incident all the more important as the song Te Felicito seems to direct some not-so-subtle swipes at Gerard Pique.

Despite the Colombian singer's admission that the song's lyrics have nothing to do with the Catalan club defender, it's hard not to connect this song with their recent breakup.

The song that was sung by Shakira and Rauw Alejandro felt like a farewell song intended for a dishonest ex. Given everything that has happened between Shakira and Pique, it's not surprising that people would draw such conclusions.

The song accuses the alleged former partner of faking and being a two-faced liar.

Even if we believe Shakira and the lyrics and timing of the song are coincidences, it probably won't help Pique much because he'll realize what everyone is thinking.
