Fell 2 Times At The Dutch MotoGP, Fabio Quartararo: I Made A Rookie Mistake

JAKARTA - Monster Yamaha Racing MotoGP racer, Fabio Quartararo, failed to finish the Dutch MotoGP race after falling. In fact, he had an incident at the Assen Circuit not once, but twice!

Fabio Quartararo fell twice at Turn 5. First, he maneuvered to overtake Aleix Espargaro but lost grip.

Fabio Quartararo's motorbike then fell and hit Espargaro. Luckily, the Aprilia Racing rider did not fall even though he had to lose many positions because he fell in the gravel.

"I made a mistake (a) rookie. I have to learn from it and I apologize to Aprilia and Aleix for sending him to the gravel," said the French rider.

After falling, Quartararo then went into the pits. However, he resumed racing after discussing with the Yamaha crew.

Unfortunately, not long after he fell again. Same location, 5th Turn.

"The second accident was not my fault. I felt something was not working with my bike," said the 2021 MotoGP world champion.

"When I stopped, they asked me to continue racing. I saw no point in getting back on track again," said Fabio Quartararo.
