JAKARTA - The sixth series of the 2022 MotoGP race will be held tonight in Spain. Check out the full schedule in the review below.

This series race will take place at the Jerez Circuit on Sunday, May 1 at 19.00 WIB. Ducati's Francesco Bagnaia will start the race from the very front.

This is the first pole position obtained by the Italian rider. He got the place after registering himself as the fastest rider in the qualifying session last Saturday.

The 25-year-old racer carved a time of 1 minute 36.170 seconds. He was ahead of reigning champion Fabio Quartararo and Aprilia's Aleix Espargaro who finished second and third on the starting grid, respectively.

Meanwhile, the fourth position will be filled by Jack Miller. Then six-time MotoGP world champion Marc Marquez will enliven the top five.

With a starting position like this, it is very likely that the race will be very fierce. Bagnaia in the leading position will automatically have to fight tooth and nail from the resistance that will be given the big names behind him.

Currently Quartararo still fills the top position of the standings with 69 points. He was followed by Alex Rins (Suzuki) in second place with the same number of points.

Meanwhile, Aleix Espargaro, who started the race in third position tonight, trailed the two riders in third place in the standings with a collection of 66 points. So, it is still possible that the standings position will change after the Spanish GP.

The Spanish race series will start with a warm-up session at 14.40 to 15.00 WIB. This session will be used by the riders to ensure that their motorbike settings are in good condition for the race.
