The Brazilian National Team Wants To Bring In Guardiola To Replace Tite, Prepares A Salary Of IDR 187.2 Billion

JAKARTA - Tite is expected to part with Brazil after the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has approached Pep Guardiola to replace the 60-year-old as head coach of the Selecao.

Brazil is currently putting all their efforts into achieving their main target, which is to win the World Cup. But at the same time, they made plans for the future of the national team.

Globo Esporte reported that Tite would leave the team after the World Cup, weeks after CBF director Juninho Paulista told Marca that the Brazil coach "may leave" after the tournament.

Guardiola was considered the leading candidate to replace Tite after Ednaldo Rodrigues became CBF president at the end of March.

CBF members agreed that Tite's successor would be from overseas, automatically seeing the Manchester City boss as the ideal person for the role.

The CBF has been in contact with Guardiola's brother and agent, Pere, to offer the Catalan coach a four-year contract until the 2026 World Cup.

If Guardiola signs the above-mentioned deal, he will earn around 12 million euros after tax.

CBF members firmly believe Guardiola can become the new coach of the Selecao. The Spanish-born coach's contract with Manchester City runs until 2023.

Therefore, one of the main questions is whether he will leave this summer or stay for next season and see his contract.
