Marquez's Confused Reaction When He Receives A Welcome From The Ritz-Carlton Qatar Hotel

JAKARTA - Repsol Honda racer, Marc Marquez uploaded a funny reaction related to the welcome given to him by the hotel in Qatar.

Ahead of the Qatar 2022 MotoGP, Marquez and other riders have arrived at the location to make pre-race preparations. While in Qatar, Marquez will stay at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Doha.

Marquez's presence at the hotel received a good reception, where the inn planned to welcome Marquez by giving a welcome cake.

However, the Ritz-Carlton Doha Hotel's good intentions to give a welcome to Marquez did not seem to run smoothly. The reason is, they gave the wrong motorbike number in the welcome greeting.

Marc Marquez, who actually had a motorcycle number 93, was instead given the number 73 by the hotel. Even though the number 73 belongs to his younger brother who is also a MotoGP racer, namely Alex Marquez.

"Dear Marc Marquez, welcome back to the Ritz-Carlton Doha!", wrote the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in greeting Marquez's arrival.

Marquez, who saw the error, immediately immortalized it with a photo uploaded to his Instagram account.

In the photo, Marquez looks confused and feels funny about the hotel's welcome. It can be seen from the surprised emoji and smile in the upload, he didn't forget to mention his sister's Instagram account, Alex Marquez.

Despite Marquez's confused reaction to the hotel's reception, the Qatar 2022 MotoGP competition itself will begin at the Losail Circuit this weekend. After Losail, the racers will resume their competition at the Mandalika Indonesia MotoGP on March 20.
