No War In Ukraine, A Firm Message Behind The Jersey Of Ukrainian Midfielder Ruslan Malinovsyi When Atalanta Beat Olympiakos

JAKARTA - Atalanta midfielder from Ukraine, Ruslan Malinovsyi shows full support for his country which is currently being invaded by Russia. He did this when he played for his team against Olympiakos in the play-off round of the Europa League.

In the match Friday, February 25 early morning WIB, Atalanta won 3-0 when they traveled to the Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium. The victory could not be separated from the Malinovsyi and Joachim Maehle braces.

After scoring a goal, Malinovsyi celebrated in the form of support for his country, Ukraine. The celebration was carried out by writing on the back of the jersey he was wearing.

The midfielder wrote “No War In Ukraine” where during this celebration his teammates immediately hugged Malinovsyi as a form of moral support.

The moment of Malinovsyi celebrating was then uploaded by the Ukrainian national team via their official Instagram account. In his statement, this account also wrote the same message that Malinovsyi wrote.

"NO WAR IN UKRAINE," he wrote.

Before celebrating his support for Ukraine, Malinovsky also used his social media to post a message for the military forces in his country with the title:

“Ukraine is under attack NOW. Please, spread the word and pray for our country,” wrote the midfielder.
