JAKARTA - Vietnam coach, Park Hang-seo successfully made history as the first coach to bring a Southeast Asian country to victory in the 2022 World Cup Qualifications. This moment occurred when Park Hang-seo escorted his team to face China on Tuesday, February 1.

In the third round match of the 20233 World Cup Qualification at My Dinh Stadium, Vietnam, which appeared in front of its supporters, successfully silenced China with a score of 3-1. Appearing insistent from the start, Vietnam's victory this time was contributed by Ho Tan Tai, Nguyen Tien Linh and Phan Van Duc.

Vietnam's 3-1 score in this match not only made them win over China, but also made a new history in the world of Southeast Asian football.

Reporting from VN Express, Wednesday, this victory made Vietnam the first Southeast Asian team to win a match in the third round of the 2022 World Cup qualification in the Asian zone.

This record also makes Park Hang-seo the first coach who can bring a Southeast Asian country to victory in the last round of World Cup Qualification.

Not only that, Vietnam's victory was also the first time that The Golden Star troops were able to beat China after previously losing in seven matches.

After the match, Park Hang-seo admitted that he was very happy that his team could get full points in the match against China.
