Traffic Engineering Police In Kuta On New Year's Eve

DENPASAR - Denpasar City Police, Bali implemented traffic engineering on Jalan Pantai Kuta, Badung Regency on the night of the turn of 2024 to 2025.

"On New Year's Eve, especially the Kuta area, we will carry out traffic diversion engineering starting at 14.00 WITA," said Denpasar Police Traffic Head Kompol Made Teja Dwi Permana, Monday, December 30.

The traffic engineering aims to provide access to pedestrians celebrating New Year's Eve in Kuta Bali. Therefore, all types of vehicles are not allowed to enter the Kuta Beach Highway from 14.00 WITA until the end of the New Year's Eve event.

There are several most important diversions made, including from the southern route from Jalan Kartika Plaza to Pasar Seni Kuta, which will be diverted to the west on Jalan Tegal Wangi. In addition, the Simpang Patih Djelantik road to Ground Zero is closed, vehicles are diverted to Jalan Raya Seminyak and to Dewi Sri.

In addition, drivers who come from Jalan Raya Kuta are not allowed to turn towards Simpang Temascun. All vehicles will be diverted to the east or Simpang TL Kuta.

Residents and tourists heading to Kuta Beach were asked to park their vehicles at a number of parking spaces provided, namely at Trisaksi Field, Jalan Patih Jelantik, Parking Central, Bali Gallery Mall parking area, Waterboom Kuta parking area, and Kuta Art Market area.

"So people who lead to Kuta beach are expected to be able to park their vehicles at the parking locations that have been conveyed earlier, they can lead to Kuta beach celebrating the new year conducively," he said as quoted by ANTARA.

Denpasar Police are also preparing a crane to transport vehicles entering prohibited areas during the New Year's momentum.

If there are still motorists parking vehicles on Jalan Raya Pantai Kuta, they will be towed to the parking lot mentioned above so as not to interfere with community activities.
