Video Claims Of Corrupt Officials Must Be Momentum For The KPK To Clean Up

JAKARTA Criminal law expert and law anthropology at Brawijaya University, Fachrizal Afandi assessed that the claim of PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto regarding US Cards for corrupt officials could be a momentum for the KPK to detain Hasto as well as clean up for the creation of a clean government.

"Now there is a claim from Hasto about the US Card even better. When Hasto is arrested, ask him to open everything. So clean up all of you, who is clean, who is involved, must be investigated indiscriminately," he said, Sunday, December 29, 2024.

He asked the KPK not to be influenced by the narrative made by the PDI-P and Hasto supporters. Do not let, continued Fachrizal, all forms of clarification issued by the PDI-P and Hasto-supporters make the KPK hesitant in acting.

"If the KPK is indeed the right law enforcer (law enforcement against Hasto) continues. For example, after determining the suspect to be arrested, there should be no effect," added Fachrizal.

Previously, PDI-P politician Mohamad Guntur Romli revealed that PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto had US cards of officials suspected of corruption so that they could change the map of eradicating corruption in Indonesia.
