JAKARTA - The Squid Game 2 series was released on December 26 and immediately ranked first on Netflix globally. The series that fans have been waiting for continues the story of Seong Gi Hun, played by Lee Jung Jae.

The second season of the series consists of 7 episodes with unfinished stories. Squid Game is confirmed to continue until the third season so that the storytelling in season two ends on a cliffhanger.

In episode 7 of the Squid Game 2 series, Seong Gi Hun (Lee Jung Jae) and a number of contestants decided to attack the pink guards (pink guard) to enter the master game room. They managed to win a pink guard weapon and enter the guard arena.

Young Hee is seen dealing with a male doll named Cheol Su. The figure of Cheol Su is Young Hee's lover as revealed by director Hwang Dong Hyuk when announcing the second season of the Squid Game series.

The scene ends with a traffic light where the green light turns on, hinting the game will start soon.

Hwang Dong Hyuk explained that the mid credit scene is a sign of the third season which will determine the fate of Seong Gi Hun after being left by his friend for the second time.

"It's kind of leaked by Cheol Su, the new doll we'll show in season three. (The scene) is also a clue regarding the game in the third season. It hasn't been announced but I hope everyone can look forward to Cheol Su and the new game," Hwang Dong Hyuk told Screenrant.
