Bali Satpol PP Anticipates New Year's Eve Insecurity In Coastal Areas

The Bali Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol) anticipates violations of order that are prone to occur on New Year's Eve, especially in coastal and field areas.

"Usually it is concentrated in several tourist destinations, especially the most visited beaches and public fields, that is our target of supervision," said Head of Bali Satpol PP I Dewa Nyoman Rai Dharmadi, Friday, December 27.

He said as many as 150 Bali Satpol PP personnel were deployed to strengthen the strength of districts/cities and police officers and the TNI. In general, the New Year celebration is filled with groups of people who gather and not a few who consume alcohol.

Bali Satpol PP does not prohibit community activities or tourists, but asks to be responsible and make the atmosphere of New Year's Eve orderly.

"The hair is still a normal limit, which means it doesn't disturb others so it doesn't cause noise, just go ahead, we hope that all components, including tourists who are active in Bali during December until the turn of the year, both keep Bali orderly, peaceful, safe, and comfortable," said Rai Dharmadi.

In addition to anticipating violations of public order on New Year's Eve, the arrival of a surge in people to Bali on this occasion is also a concern.

This is because often the number of people who go out on the backflow is not as many as those who enter, where many migrant communities live for a living in Bali.

Bali Satpol PP has no problem with the presence of immigrants, but the inspection process for migrant residents will still be carried out in the pockets of migrants and project construction sites.

Rai Dharmadi said that every time there is an increase in the number of migrants, they will record their person in charge so that one day acting will be easily held accountable.
